The last word of the opening song ended like many songs - 'AAAAAAAAAAA-men'. Our investigator turned to me and said, 'Saying 'a-men' at the end of a song sounds sexist, is this church sexist?' I was really caught off guard. I wasn't sure what to say, so I turned to my companion, desperate for an answer. He said, it's because they're hymns, not hers.
