    Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Michelle Mattson oversees the academic programs of the College and supports the work of the faculty.
  • Elise Eslinger

    Vice President and Chief of Staff

    As VP and chief of staff, Elise Eslinger serves as an advisor to the president, oversees the operations of the President’s Office, and coordinates the meetings for the senior leadership team at Carleton. She manages community and neighborhood relations for the College and oversees the offices of Institutional Research and Assessment and the Summer Liberal Arts Institute.

    As VP for communications, Helen Clarke leads the division that is responsible for telling Carleton’s story through social and traditional media, photography and video, print and digital marketing, editorial publications, internal communications, and at carleton.edu.
