During Spring Break, The Carleton Semaphore Repertory Dance Company, (Aadi Akyianu,
Amelia Carson, Roo Case, Kelissa Gray, Jai Miles, Elsie Newburg, Noel Wang, Juju Xiaaj,
Caroline Zhou) along with Faculty Directors Judith Howard and Daphne McCoy, presented work before a national panel of adjudicators at the American College Dance Conference, held
this year at the University of Wyoming.
The company performed in the adjudicated concert with works by faculty Daphne McCoy, and
by senior Dance Major Roo Case with outstanding feedback from the national panelists. The
students and faculty participated in numerous dance classes and attended multiple concerts. The
dancers excelled in stellar performances and will bring that inspiration to the upcoming Spring
Dance Concert on Friday, May 23 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 pm. Tickets will be available to reserve on May 12.
