If you are interested in exploring work or a career in religious leadership after graduation, we hope you will apply for our NEW Religious Leadership Fellows Program! Here is the application form, due May 5th (midterm break).
Designed for rising juniors and seniors, this fellowship offers financial support, networking opportunities, mentorship, and work experience for those of all backgrounds and beliefs. Strong candidates may be exploring ordained leadership, or another form of leadership entirely, including non-profit work, monastic life, chaplaincy (higher education, medical, military), religious education, academic and theological study through the lens of their religious tradition, or something else entirely!
Fellows will join an interfaith cohort that will meet regularly during the 2025-2026 academic year for support and reflection. Fellows will have access to resources for travel, lodging, networking, and work opportunities for spiritual discernment and deepening.
Should you have any questions, about the application, the program itself, or about whether you would be a good fit for the program, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I can be reached via email at svogel@carleton.edu or you are welcome to schedule an appointment through my calendar. I hope to hear from you soon!
This fellowship is possible through a generous grant from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) and the Lily Endowment Inc. More information about the grant and the program can be found on the Grant’s Office website.
