How to get started:

Many new students choose to begin with our required gateway course Introduction to Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies, which provides a broad overview of the discipline and a strong background for more advanced courses. Other students start with Foundations of LGBTQ Studies, which provides an interdisciplinary examination of sexual desires, sexual orientations, and the concept of sexuality, with a particular focus on the construction of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender identities.
