You may also sign in on the ArcGIS Online homepage. Sign in by clicking the option “Your ArcGIS organization’s URL”.

I need to use ArcGIS Pro or CityEngine off campus. What are my options?
- ArcGIS Pro and CityEngine use named user license. When you sign in Carleton’s ArcGIS Online portal using your Carleton user account, you acquire the license for the software.
- With the named user license, you can use the software anywhere as long as the software is installed and the computer has access to the Internet for you to sign in ArcGIS Online.
- If you will use the software in an offline environment, you need to check out your license for off-line use while you still have access to the Internet, and return the license to the portal afterwards.
- For more information, go to this ArcGIS Pro Help article.

Can I keep items created with Carleton’s ArcGIS account after I graduate?
Your membership with Carleton’s ArcGIS Online portal cease to work after you graduate.
You can keep web maps and applications by copying them to a free ArcGIS Online public account (you have to create the account first). Note that the public account does not allow access to “premium” datasets or functionalities that consume “credits.”
If items in your account were created for a faculty project, move them to the faculty member’s account.
Rebecca Barkmeier and Wei-Hsin are here to help!
