Welcome to the Fitness Center!
If you are new to the fitness center, we are here to help you get started on your wellness journey. We offer a variety of resources designed to make your introduction to fitness easy and enjoyable. Whether you prefer working out in the gym or from the comfort of your dorm, there are plenty of options for you to explore.
General Safety Standards & Etiquette
- Wipe down all benches, machines, and equipment after use.
- All racks, weights, and equipment should be returned to their original location/storage place after use.
- Clean and dry shoes must be worn while using equipment/no open toed shoes.
- Shirts that cover the torso must be worn at all times.
- Music must not be excessively lewd or offensive. Outside music, portable, or bluetooth speakers are not allowed. Please use headphones when appropriate.
- No inappropriate language, behavior, or attire. Please be respectful of others.
- Secure all personal/valuable belongings: lockers & cubbies are available for this purpose.
- Treat equipment with care. Do not slam or drop weights & barbells unless equipment is designated for the purpose.
How to Use the Fitness Equipment
When you arrive, you will find QR codes on each piece of equipment. These link to short instructional videos that will guide you on how to properly use the machines. You can also watch these videos by clicking on the “Fitness Equipment Videos” tab below. This is a great way to feel confident as you begin your fitness journey.
Virtual Workouts
If you prefer to work out at home, we offer a selection of virtual workout videos that you can follow at your own pace. Click HERE to access our at-home workout videos.
Instructed Classes & Personal Training
For more in-depth support, consider working with one of our personal trainers. They are available for one-on-one sessions to introduce you to the fitness center, help you become familiar with the equipment, and guide you towards your fitness goals.
