Transcripts & Proof of Enrollment

View Your Unofficial Transcript

Current students can view their unofficial transcript from the Academics and Registration app in Workday. For more information, see View Your Unofficial Transcript help article in Workday.

Former students should follow the information to Request an Official Transcript. Sending a transcript to yourself will make it unofficial.

Request an Official Transcript

Carleton College has partnered with Parchment for transcript requests.  Sending transcripts is fast, easy and secure.  There is no charge for either paper or electronic transcripts.

You will be required to create a Parchment account and then will be directed to the form to Order Your Transcript. 

• If you need to add an attachment with your transcript you will have the opportunity to upload the form. 
• If a paper transcript is required, you will have the option to send your transcripts by USPS or by overnight delivery, FedEx. 
• There is no charge to mail the transcript via USPS, but a fee will be charged to use FedEx which can be paid by credit card. 
• You can track your order to see when it was sent and when it was opened.
• If you need help with your transcript order, log onto your Parchment account and visit the Parchment Help Center where you will find answer to frequently asked questions and articles to support your needs.
• From the Parchment Help Center, you can submit a web case for support or contact a Learner Support Representative for assistance. The Support Team is available M-F, 8am-8pm ET.

Proof of Enrollment

You can print enrollment verifications (known to many students and parents as the full-time student letter) online from the Resources tab in the Academics and Registration app in Workday. See our guide Print Student Enrollment Verification Letter for more information.

Or you can print enrollment verifications from the the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) webpage. By clicking to login you will have access to enrollment verification reports and other enrollment and loan deferment information.

The Clearinghouse is a repository for enrollment information for most colleges and universities in the United States. NSC is partnering with colleges to make this free service available to students 24/7. You do not need to visit or call the Registrar’s Office to get your enrollment verification! A printed copy of this report should be sufficient to document your enrollment status to third parties.

Be sure to log off the NSC site when you are done using this service.

Parents: The NSC site can only be accessed by using the student’s Carleton login and password. If your student is unable to access the necessary reports, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 507-222-4288.
