Security Services manages lost and found property across campus.

Collection bins have been placed in 20 locations for your convenience.

Items of high-value or at increased risk of theft should go directly to security.

Stop by Hoppin House or email security to inquire about a lost item.

How it Works

Lost items may be placed in any official bin by anyone at any time.

Looking through collection bins for recently lost property is permitted.

Items are collected from the official lost and found bins on a weekly basis and taken to the security office (Hoppin House) for processing and storage.

Security will attempt to identify the owner and contact them by phone or email.

Staff will release item(s) to the owner (or an owner-designated delegate) once ownership has been proven through detailed description of the item, documentation, or personal identification.

All lost and found items will be held for 60 days. Items will then be donated, discarded, or released to an appropriate department/office/agency.

  • Hasenstab Hall – Main foyer on floor under digital sign
  • Hulings Hall – Main (West) entrance on top of waste bins
  • Johnson House/AGH – Johnson House entry on top of waste bins
  • Laird Hall – Main foyer on top of waste bins
  • LDC Dining – In dining room
  • LDC Language Side – 2nd floor corridor on top of waste bins
  • Leighton Hall – 2nd floor corridor on top of waste bins
