Josh Sampson ’26, Amanda Hund ’10, John Berini publish paper in Molecular Ecology Resources journal

Sampson is double majoring in biology and computer science at Carleton. Hund is assistant professor of biology and Berini is postdoctoral fellow in ecology and evolution at Carleton.

Josh Sampson ’26; Amanda Hund ’10, assistant professor of biology; and John Berini, postdoctoral fellow in ecology and evolution, published a paper in the journal Molecular Ecology Resources titled, “Needle in a haystack: A droplet digital polymerase chain reaction assay to detect rare helminth parasites infecting natural host populations.”
